Terms and conditions

These conditions are applicable to all sales concluded by Grand Hôtel Clichy Paris (with the exception of group bookings). As a result, the customer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale and undertakes to comply with them.
These conditions of sale can be modified at any time, and the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date the reservation is made.

ARTICLE 1- RATES
The prices indicated are in €uro and inclusive of VAT, and take into account the VAT applicable on the day of booking. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes introduced by the competent authorities, will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the invoice date.
Rates are per room for the number of people indicated and according to the selected period and do not include services (unless otherwise stated)
The tourist tax of 4.88€ per day and per person (over 16 years old) is not included in the displayed price and must be paid directly on site.
Some services may be subject to an additional charge and may be subject to change without notice, without any liability on the part of the hotel.
No stay booked before the implementation of a possible promotional offer will be refunded, even partially.

ARTICLE 2- RESERVATIONS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT
Reservations can be made on the website wwwgrandhotel, by phone, e-mail or post.
The reservation will only be effective if it is guaranteed by the customer, either by providing a credit card number with validity date or by paying a deposit, and after receiving a detailed reservation confirmation.
All services will be paid directly to the hotel (exceptions made for prepaid reservations at the time of booking).
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event that the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation incomplete.
Bookings regardless of their origin will be payable in €uro only.
Grand Hotel Clichy Paris accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and has a secure booking system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted at booking to prevent any disclosure to a third party.
When the reservation is registered, a credit card debit authorization will be issued. This will be done for information purposes only, and will under no circumstances be a debit to the account except in the following cases:
– Promotional offer “non-refundable – non-refundable”.
– If the validity date of the credit card is before the arrival date.
– If the arrival date is more than 89 days from the reservation date.
The customer is solely responsible for his choice of services and their adequacy to his needs, so that Du Grand Hôtel Clichy Paris cannot be held liable in this respect.

ARTICLE 3-FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure means any event outside the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable and prevents the customer from performing all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract in the performance of the trip. This will be the case in particular with regard to strikes by means of transport, hotel staff, government or public riots.

ARTICLE 4- MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be requested by email to contact@grandhotel-clichy.com or by phone to 01 47 37 00 57
The request will only become effective once the hotel has confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In the event of a change or cancellation of stay, the following conditions apply (except in cases of force majeure):
– For any request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date, the amount of the first night will be charged.
– In the event of non-arrival on the scheduled arrival date, your credit card will be charged the amount of the first night.
– Any stay started is entirely due.

For bookings made via our partners’ websites, cancellation must be made via this website. The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to the partner and may therefore differ from those of Grand Hôtel Clichy Paris.
In the event of an extension of the stay, the client must notify the hotel reception at 10:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure in order to know the availability.

ARTICLE 5- THE HOTEL AND SERVICES
The children’s breakfast rate applies to children up to and including 10 years of age.
For safety and hygiene reasons, our friends pets are not allowed in the establishment.
Rooms are available from 3pm and must be vacated by 12pm on the day of departure. A supplement may be charged in the event of non-compliance with the maximum departure time. In case of arrival after 8pm, the reception must be notified.
The guest accepts and agrees to use the room as a good family man. Any behaviour contrary to morality and public order will also lead the hotelier to ask the guest to leave the establishment without any compensation and/or reimbursement if payment has already been made.

ARTICLE 6-DELOGEMENT
In the event of unavailability of the hotel or in case of force majeure, the latter reserves the right to provide the guest with full or partial accommodation in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier who cannot be sought as payment for any additional compensation.

ARTICLE 7 – COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be sent to Hôtel La Verriaire by registered letter within 15 days of the departure of the stay that is the subject of the complaint. After this period, no complaint can be taken into account.

ARTICLE 8- INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM
In accordance with law 78-17, known as the Data Protection Act, customers are informed that their reservation is subject to computerised nominative processing. Users have a right of access and rectification of the data entered, which is exercised at the registered office: SARL Grand Hôtel 36 boulevard Jean Jaurès 92110 Clichy. It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
The hotel offers wifi internet access. The user customer undertakes that the computer resources made available to him/her shall in no way be used for the purpose of reproducing, representing, making available or communicating to the public works or objects protected by copyright, by a related right such as texts, images, photographs, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorisation of the holders of the rights provided for in Book I and II of the Intellectual Property Code when such authorisation is required.
The establishment has a video surveillance system in the common areas of the building.

ARTICLE 9- RESPONSIBILITIES
The hotel declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the belongings of guests during their stay.
The client will be held liable for any damage, deterioration or act of vandalism that may occur as a result of the occupation of the premises and/or by the participants and/or the staff for whom he is responsible, both to the movable, decorative and immovable property belonging or not to the hotel. As a result, the hotel may therefore ask the guest to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any reimbursement of the current stay, and to reimburse the damage caused by these acts.

Art.10- APPLICABLE LAW
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. This is the case for both substantive and formal rules. Disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
